A special cyber safety awareness session was conducted at Bhavan Vidyalaya, Sector 15, Panchkula, for nearly 1,400 students from classes VI to XII. The keynote speaker was Dr Rakshit Tandon, a well-known cyber safety expert and national speaker, who has been working for more than two decades to promote cyber awareness and assist law enforcement agencies in tackling online crimes. Dr Tandon engaged the students with his dynamic presentation, covering essential topics, such as digital diet, cyber hygiene, safe Internet practices, responsible social media use, password protection, digital footprints, online gaming risks, cyberbullying, digital dementia and phishing. Principal Gulshan Kaur expressed heartfelt gratitude to Dr Tandon, noting that equipping students with cyber safety skills is as important as their academic learning in today’s digital age.
