The Interact Club of Bhavan Vidyalaya, New Chandigarh, partnered with the Rotary Club of New Chandigarh to enrich the library of Government Middle School, Chahar Majra. On August 7, the club donated 256 books and 50 magazines, fostering a culture of reading and learning. Led by enthusiastic students and guided by their teacher mentors, the initiative went beyond a book donation - it was an opportunity for meaningful connections and exchanges. Interact Club members engaged with the school students, discussing their favourite books, reading habits and the impact of stories. This interaction created a sense of camaraderie and inspired the younger students to develop a love for reading. The event was attended by Rotary Club president Sonia Salaria and esteemed Rotarians, who praised the students for their thoughtful initiative and commitment to service. This endeavour reflects the Interact Club's mission to serve with empathy, learn through action and uplift communities through purposeful engagement. The collective effort showcased the positive impact that can be achieved when individuals come together to make a difference.
