A group of 30 students, along with their teacher mentors, Priyanka Sharma and Vijaya Singh Parihar of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Dharamsala Cantt., visited the Spring Glowing Waves Mineral Water Plant in Paprola as part of an educational tour organised by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The primary objective of this visit was to provide students with practical knowledge about mineral water production, its quality standards and the importance of safe drinking water. During the visit, the students learned about water-based equipment and the latest technological advancements related to mineral water filtration. On this occasion, resource person Amit conducted an informative session with the students. He encouraged them to adopt modern technologies and use digital resources for better water management and future preparedness. After the session, the students also toured the factory, where they directly observed the processes of mineral water filtration, quality testing and packaging. This hands-on experience gave them deeper insights into quality control and the significance of sustainable water use.
