A group of 35 students from the school had an extraordinary experience by participating in an adventure camp. The camp was organised by the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports, Manali, under the aegis of the Himachal Pradesh Government. During this adventurous tour, the students engaged in various activities such as rock climbing, rappelling, river crossing, trekking, camping, jungle craft, survival skills, and leadership training. They covered approximately 70 km and reached an altitude of 8,750 feet. The camp was conducted in the challenging terrain of the Himalayas, where the students were trained to remain physically fit, disciplined, and resilient. Commending the efforts of the students, Principal KS Guleria said, “Such adventure camps play a vital role in enhancing students’ self-confidence, leadership qualities, and life skills. This experience not only supports their mental and physical development but also prepares them to face life’s challenges with strength.” This camp was not just a thrilling experience for the students but also a significant step towards their personality development. The school family extended heartfelt congratulations to all participating students and accompanying teachers for the successful completion of this expedition.
