Pune, November 23

Vedant Vishal Desai, a 6-year-old Class I student of EuroSchool, Undri, Pune, has brought glory to the school by securing the first position in 200-meter State-Level Skating Championship. He is now eligible to participate in the 59th National speed skating championship to be held in New Delhi from  December 11 to 15. Vedant achieved this feat by creating a tremendous balance between sports and academics in his daily routine.

Vedant recently participated in the 31st Maharashtra State Roller Skating Championship 2021. The event was organised by the Skating Association of Maharashtra on November 14, 2021.

Vedant has passionately put in two hours of practice daily to secure the first position at the state-level championship and is working harder to ace the upcoming national championship.

Delighted over Vedant’s achievement Seema Bhukhandi, Principal, EuroSchool Undri said, “Vedant is a highly motivated, focused and committed student who has been great not just in academics but has regularly participated in extracurricular activities. We are very proud of Vedant for his achievements and wish him all the best for the upcoming sports competitions and championships.”
