A total of 99.75 per cent students from the state have passed Class 10 CBSE board examinations.

Of 1,42,959 students who appeared for the exam from the state, 85,976 were boys and 56,983 girls. As many as 1,42,600 passed the examination. The overall pass percentage is 99.75 per cent with boys’ scoring 99.68 per cent and girls 99.86 per cent.

Jammu and Kashmir has the highest pass percentage in the region at 99.97 per cent, followed by Himachal Pradesh with 99.95 per cent. The pass percentage of Chandigarh is 97.94 per cent and that of Punjab is 99.68 per cent.
