In celebration of World Environment Day, the school organised a series of impactful activities to raise awareness about environmental preservation. The day began with themed presentations during the morning assembly. Students from the Eco Club, NCC and NSS then led a rally to Mall Road, where they collected litter, raised slogans and performed a nukkad natak to highlight the importance of eco-conscious living. Manali SDM Raman Sharma praised the students’ efforts, noting their role in shaping public attitudes toward conservation. Principal Anita Verma applauded the staff and students, urging them to reduce plastic usage and adopt sustainable practices such as using leaf plates at social functions. She emphasised that such small changes can contribute significantly to protecting the planet for future generations.
