The school organised an Annual Sports Meet- 2024 on its premises. The event commenced with lighting the torch by Principal S Thakur and Chairperson Anil Thakur. A march past and drill were conducted. School head girl administered the oath to all students. Principal S Thakur spoke about the importance of sports and games in our lives. Students of junior and senior wing enjoyed the games like rabbit race, jelly fish race, panda race, hopping with ball, pick and drop ball, ball relay race, fun with hula-hoop ring, sack race, crab walk, one-leg race with hurdle (pick glass with toes) boys’ slow cycling, girls’ matka smash, net ball and kho-kho. At the end of the sports meet Principal S Thakur appreciated the participants and honoured the winners with medal trophies and certificates.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
