Ajuni Bajwa of Class VI of Shivalik Public School, Sector 78, Mohali, won a gold medal win at the state-level cricket championship. As part of the Under-14 Girls Cricket Team (Mohali), Ajuni's remarkable skill, determination and team spirit led her team to the top. The school's values of perseverance and excellence paid off and Ajuni's achievement is a testament to that. The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
