The academy celebrated Republic Day. The morning assembly was held in the school field at 9:30 am. The flag hoisting was done by Principal Jasmeet Kaur, followed by rendition of the national anthem. Students used Tricolour things for participated in badge making, rangoli, declamation, and poster making. They actively participated in patriotic dance and songs. They recited patriotic poems. The principal congratulated the students on Republic Day.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
