An enriching and interactive workshop on ‘Active Learning Strategies’ was conducted at the school by Jaspreet Kaur, Principal, Paragon Senior Secondary School, Mohali, and Rajesh Kumar Bansal, Principal, Century Public School, Nayagaon. A total of 69 educators participated in the workshop. The session aimed to equip educators with effective techniques to enhance active engagement of students through experiential and collaborative learning. By engaging the educators in various experiential activities, Jaspreet Kaur highlighted strategies to encourage active learning and transforming passive classrooms into a dynamic hub of collaboration. Rajesh Kumar led a series of knowledgeable and hands-on activities, including Fishbowl, One-Minute Papers, Think-Pair-Share, Role Play, Case Studies and Ah-Ha! Wall, all designed to promote critical and creative thinking and collaborative learning. The school Principal, Ritu Bali, emphasised that the adoption of such methodologies should be inclusive, catering to the diverse needs of all learners to ensure that no student is left behind.
