AKSIPS-41 Smart School, Chandigarh
The nursery students participated in a fun-filled activity called ‘Peg the Numbers’, designed to enhance their number recognition and fine motor skills. In this engaging activity, children identified numbers displayed on cards and placed the correct number of pegs on them. This hands-on exercise helped develop their early numeracy skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration, and finger strength, which are essential for future writing and learning tasks. Principal Ritu Bali appreciated the initiative, highlighting the importance of such playful learning methods in building foundational skills while keeping children engaged. She emphasised the school’s commitment to innovative teaching practices that make learning an enjoyable experience for young minds.
