AKSIPS-41 Smart School, Chandigarh, organised an enriching educational visit for its students to The Tribune Printing Press in collaboration with TIE (Tribune in Education), providing them a real-time learning experience on how newspapers are produced and delivered to readers across the region. During the visit, students observed and understood the complete process of newspaper printing — from news compilation and page designing to plate-making, high-speed printing, cutting, folding, and final dispatch. The team at The Tribune guided the students through each stage, explaining how news travels from reporters and editors to the massive printing machines that run through the night to ensure timely distribution every morning. The visit proved to be a valuable learning experience, offering students practical exposure beyond the classroom and fostering a deeper understanding of the world of journalism, media, and print technology. As a gesture of warm hospitality, light refreshments were also served to the students, making the visit more comfortable and enjoyable for them.
