AKSIPS-45 Smart School, Chandigarh, celebrated Diwali with a difference, embracing the theme "Green Diwali - Clean Diwali". The event was organised by the Interact and Early Act Club, along with the Sadabahar Eco Club, to promote eco-friendly practices and spread awareness about reducing pollution. In a special assembly, students spoke about the significance of Diwali and the importance of adopting eco-friendly practices. Diya and candle decoration, toran and lantern making, poster and slogan competitions and an anti-cracker awareness rally were held. Students and staff vowed to celebrate a pollution-free Diwali and spread awareness in their communities. School Director Dr Jasmine Kalra appreciated the students' efforts, saying, "Our aim is to instil values of environmental responsibility in our children. Celebrating Green Diwali is a step towards a cleaner and healthier future."
