AKSIPS-45 Smart School, Chandigarh

The school celebrated International Sports Day, highlighting the importance of fitness and global unity through sports. The event marked a series of exciting activities and competitions, encouraging students to participate and showcase their talent. A variety of events were organised for classes VI to VIII throughout the day, including scrabble, carrom and chess competition wherein students actively participated in all categories. The event featured an inter-house competition that saw students from different houses competing in a friendly yet intense way. The excitement in the air was palpable as students cheered for their teammates and displayed excellent sportsmanship. The winners and participants were recognised for their efforts. Certificates were awarded to those who excelled in various competitions, with a special mention given to students who demonstrated exceptional teamwork and fair play. Principal Pamila Kaur emphasised the role of sports in promoting teamwork, discipline and a healthy lifestyle.
