The Sadak Suraksha Abhiyan was organised by the Ministry of Transport and Highways on ‘Road Safety’, and Chaman Vatika Gurukul, Ambala, took the initiative to facilitate the same by organising a special assembly on the school premises with the aim of spreading awareness about the importance of road safety and reducing accidents. The students presented thought-provoking ideas and a meaningful poem on ‘Safe Roads, Safe Lives’, followed by a quiz that reinforced the key concepts. The event culminated with the rendition of the road safety anthem, emphasising the importance of safe road practices. Some short videos inculcating the values of life, sensitisation to the rules of the roads and inducing better traffic habits were also shown to the students. Principal Sonali Sharma delivered an inspiring message, highlighting the significance of road safety awareness and responsible behaviour among the students.
