Amravati Vidyalaya, Panchkula, celebrated its 25th glorious year with the grand event “Sports Extravaganza-II: A Medley of Cultural & Sports Events” organised at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Sector-3, Panchkula. The event was graced by Chief Guest Rakesh Sandhu, HCS, OSD to the Chief Minister, Haryana. The ceremony commenced with a welcome address, followed by the march past and an oath-taking ceremony, symbolising sportsmanship and unity. A welcome dance by Class I students and pre-primary kids’ performance 'Dancing Feet' set the tone for the event. A series ofcompetitions — from ball picking, ball & cone, cone balancing, bag packing, sack race, 200m and 400m races, to the relay race — kept the audience engaged throughout. The vibrant dumbbell drill, graceful fan dance, rhythmic yoga display, and powerful martial art performance showcased the students' coordination, energy, and discipline. Cultural highlights such as the Animal Dance, Champion - The Genesis: The Struggle of an Athlete, Zumba Dance, and the lively Eclectic Beats performance brought alive the spirit of sportsmanship, dedication, and joy. The event was a tribute to school founders Late Amarnath Aggarwal and Deviwati. Winners of various track-and-field events were awarded medals, trophies, and certificates, while academic achievers were also honoured. The celebration concluded with a vibrant bhangra performance followed by the vote of thanks and the National Anthem.
