Students of Class II to V visited the local market as part of an educational activity designed to teach practical life skills. The primary aim of the visit was to help children learn how to budget wisely and make informed shopping decisions. During the visit each student brought a fixed amount of money. They were asked to purchase items of their choice while ensuring they stayed within their budget. This hands-on experience allowed them to understand the values of money, compare prices, prioritise needs over wants and make thoughtful spending choices. Through this activity the students not only enjoyed their shopping experience but also learnt essential budgeting and money management skills. They developed confidence in handling money and gained a better understanding of making smart financial decisions.
