Chaman Vatika Gurukul, Ambala, organised an enlightening session and an anaemia check-up camp in collaboration with the Bharat Vikas Parishad, Ambala, and Dr Nidhi Jain, MD Pathology. Dr Nidhi Jain, special guest for the day, addressed the students on the importance of balanced nutrition, personal hygiene, and preventive measures to combat anaemia. Dr Nidhi Jain explained how iron deficiency affects growth, concentration, and overall health, encouraging students to include green leafy vegetables, jaggery, and sprouts in their daily diet. Satish Chawla, president, Bharat Vikas Parishad, Ambala, threw light on the initiatives taken by his team across the nation over the past decades. Following the talk, the students of Class XI-X (Sciences) and Class XI-Z (Humanities) underwent haemoglobin screening to assess their health status. Principal Sonali Sharma extended heartfelt thanks to Dr Nidhi Jain for her valuable guidance and to the Bharat Vikas Parishad for sponsoring the camp, contributing towards our mission of holistic education and nurturing healthy, responsible citizens of tomorrow.
