Annual day function organised at Ashiana Public School, Sector 46-A, Chandigarh
The school held the annual day function for students of LKG and UKG. The school witnessed the glitz and glamour of the annual day celebration as the little students of the junior wing participated in various performances displaying their talent. The main aim was to bring forth each and every child and not just the best. All students participated wholeheartedly towards the success of the grand show. The triumph was made possible by the relentless efforts of the students and staff who contributed in every way possible to make the day a memorable one. Full of enthusiasm, the tiny tots of the school presented colourful cultural programme which enthralled the gathering of parents. The students put up a colourful display with multi-coloured costumes and catchy dialogues. They performed with confidence and ease which drew widespread appreciation from the parents of the children, who had come to witness the show. The little munchkins were enthusiastic in presenting theme-based stories to add special flavour to the atmosphere. To begin with, the little toddlers from play way occupied a special place in the hearts of the audience by the presentation of eye-catching thematic play based on religious festivals such as Janamashtami. Little children engaged the audience by rowing them into the world of fairy land with the presentation of stories such as ‘Cinderella’. Not only this, the little artistes left no stone unturned in displaying plays with moral lessons such as ‘The foolish lion and clever rabbit’, ‘Say no to plastic’, etc. The presentation of humorous play ‘Santa on a diet’ added fun to the day. The talented students presented an array of mesmerising cultural events which displayed perfect synchronisation of music and dance. The performances were not only engaging but also delivered a strong message to the audience. The parents were visibly impressed by the impeccable performance showcased by the students across different grades. The cultural show exhibited by the students showcased their outstanding work and was much appreciated by all. The event concluded with the participation of the students in Monkeynastix wherein the children displayed their flexibility and agility. School Director Lalita Prakash in her speech appreciated and acknowledged the efforts put forth by students.
