Annual Prize Distribution celebrated at RD Khosla school

The 43rd Annual Prize Distribution and Cultural Programme (Part-1) was celebrated with pomp and enthusiasm at RD Khosla DAV Model Sr Sec School, Batala. The event was graced by Chief Guest Aman Sher Singh Kalsi, MLA Batala, and Guest of Honour Dr Rashmi Nanda, a renowned Kathak dancer and cultural scholar. The programme began with the ceremonial lamp lighting by school's Chairman Arvind Khosla, President Ajay Khosla, Principal Dr Bindu Bhalla and Managing Committee members. This year's theme, "Sargam - A confluence of notes", highlighted the significance of the seven musical notes in human life, symbolising profound human values and the melody of life. Students presented soulful performances portraying the role of music since the beginning of creation, paying tributes to legendary musicians. The audience also remembered Shiv Kumar Batalvi with deep reverence. Principal Dr Bindu Bhalla welcomed dignitaries, parents and media, presenting the annual report and highlighting the school's achievements in academics, yoga and sports. Chairman Arvind Khosla praised the students' performances, saying life is a theatre where every goal can be achieved with enthusiasm and determination. The event concluded with the felicitation of meritorious students and a power-packed Bhangra performance. The chief guest and guest of honour were honoured with shawls and mementos.
