Students of MM International School, Ambala, shine at the SGFI State Level Chess Tournament held at Charkhi Dadri. The U-19 boys’ team secured the ninth position overall. Ansh Bhalla of Class X (Green), qualified for the U-19 boys’ category, played five rounds in the qualifiers, won four matches and secured fifth rank, earning a place in the nationals. The school congratulated Ansh, his proud parents and dedicated mentors for this remarkable feat.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
