Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, Jalandhar, celebrates ‘Abhiviyakti 2.0’

The school celebrated the annual function, ‘Abhiviyakti 2.0’. The chief guest was Dr Rishi Kumar, Additional Commissioner, Revenue Department, Jalandhar. The guest of honour was school alumna Dr Sahil Sareen, Cardiologist, NHS Hospital, Jalandhar. The chief guest received the guard of honour by NCC cadets and school band. It was followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and invocation dance. The inspirational life journey of founder Chairman Dr Stya Paul, present Chairman Sushma Paul Berlia and joint secretary, Apeejay Education, Dr Neha Berlia, was presented through a video titled ‘The Journey of a Leader’. An English play, ‘Shakespeare decoded’ presented the vivid emotions of human beings. The entire event was based on the presentation of fundamental human emotions which guide and decide our journey. The young achievers of the school in curricular and co-curricular activities were awarded by the chief guest and guest of honour. The cultural programme included bhangra, Sufi dance, musical presentation and group dances by enthusiastic students. Principal Sangeeta Nistandra read out the school’s annual report celebrating the glorious achievements of the students in various streams in the last session.
