The school conducted an insightful cyber safety workshop aimed at equipping students and parents with the essential knowledge to navigate the digital world safely. The workshop was led by Gurcharan Singh, a renowned cyber expert of the Union Government, and received an overwhelming response from attendees. The session for students focused on building awareness on responsible Internet usage, recognising cyber threats, and understanding safe digital practices. Through interactive discussions and real-life case studies, students were educated on the risks of social media, cyberbullying, phishing scams and online privacy breaches. A separate parents’ session proved to be an eye-opener. Parents were guided through practical demonstrations on securing their online privacy, managing digital footprints and implementing parental controls. The interactive session allowed them to clarify doubts and receive expert guidance on protecting their children from potential cyber threats.
