  • Read a book—It’s simple, if a machine is wearing out, it’ll stop. The same way, the brain will slow the body down and Melatonin will force the person to sleep. The heavier the work, the more the brain forces its regular schedule.
  • Counting Sheep—This is a very old trick in the book to put a person to sleep. A psychological trick, counting also puts pressure on the brain and when the brain cannot rush on to two processes, it snoozes off instantly.
  • Drink a glass of milk—Lactic acid has been a winner in putting people to sleep. Drinking a hot glass of milk, releases off the weak, shivering sensations during a cold night and can give you a good night’s sleep.

Why is sleep so important?

The reason for an 8-hour sleep is because; the body needs to reset the wear and tear so that the brain and other organs can have a smooth flow of blood and oxygen. Constant working and no sleep can lead to mind strokes. If you’re deprived of sleep and need mental help, it’s always easy to meet a psychologist who will run down the process slowly for you and help you get on track with your schedule. Sleep isn’t something that one wants, it is something that one needs and deserves. The main reason of life is to reset and move on.
