The school hosted a two-days capacity building programme on ‘Critical and Creative Thinking’, organised by the CBSE CoE, Panchkula. Kalpana Lathar and Parveen Kumar Patpatia were the resource persons. The educators of Chaman Vatika Gurukul for Girls, Ambala, The Gurukul, Jyotisar, Arya Senior Secondary School, Gharaunda, JPS, Nissing, along with the staff of Aryakulam attended the workshop. The programme began with a warm welcome by host school principal and venue director Dinesh Kumar. Parveen Kumar opened the session by giving an overview of the importance of critical and creative thinking in the education system. Kalpana Lathar focused on nurturing creativity in teachers and students through divergent thinking, problem-solving scenarios and collaborative projects. The session was commenced by Kalpana Lathar, who introduced teachers to assessment techniques that evaluate students’ critical and creative thinking skills. Parveen Kumar successfully empowered teachers to cultivate essential 21st century skills in students, fostering a generation of innovative and analytical thinkers. Aryakulam conveyed gratitude to both the resource persons and CBSE for such a thought-provoking workshop.
