Basant Panchmi was celebrated at the school. The students as well as the school faculty assembled together to seek blessings from ‘Maa Saraswati’. The day began by paying invocation to God with the recitation of ‘Gayatri Mantra’ and ‘Mool Mantra’. This was followed by the melodious performance of the school choir. Thereafter, special ‘aarti’ was performed to seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati. Students brought yellow- coloured food in their tiffin. Various craft activities related to the theme were held. The highlight of the day was kite flying, which left the children jumping and laughing with excitement. School Director Lalita Prakash talked about the importance of the festival and blessed the students.
