The day is a tribute to the Sahibzaade’s courage and sacrifice. It also serves as a reminder of the values of bravery, devotion, and righteousness. To enlighten school students on the significance of the day and to pay tribute to the bravery of young souls in history, students of classes V-VIII were shown the movie, ‘Chaar Sahibzaade’. The Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Study Centre, in collaboration with the school, organised this interactive and participatory programme for the students to sensitise the young minds to the values of courage, sacrifice and unwavering commitment. Thereafter, the students were asked related questions and were awarded prizes. It was indeed a great initiative to make the students aware of the rich Sikh culture and promote values and virtues which the children can behold for future.
