At home in the new era of digital learning

Education is the most powerful weapon which can be used to change society as a whole. Education begins at birth and continues throughout our life. School is a place where students learn every moment and our focus is to provide a support to our children so they continue learning with modern methodology. When lockdown started due to Covid-19, no one had ever thought about online teaching.

Sushil Awasthi,

Principal, Cambridge Global School,

Thural, Kangra

The school, therefore, has undertaken a great leap in integrating information and communication technology into online teaching and learning process.

We believe in empowering our children in a manner that they act as representatives of a meaningful and value-based society!

Our pedagogy, which is holistic and comprehensive, complements this. Teachers, who hesitated to take online classes initially, are now feeling comfortable while teaching online daily. It was big challenge to teach students over mobiles due to network problems and continuous power cut in villages.

Our teachers and parents have made enormous efforts. Currently, our teachers are using online methodology for classes I to X. Yoga and music teachers are also taking their classes through online mode on every Sunday. We have a team of fabulous faculty members who display boundless energy and intense commitment which keeps the ethos of our school shining brightly.

Parents never thought that they would attend PTM through Google Meet App. But everyone has contributed to make this new system productive and efficient.

The school always tries its best to maintain the highest quality academic standard and provide the wonderful environment for studies. I would like to share the words of Albert Einstein:

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For while knowledge defines all we currently know and understand, imagination points to all we might yet discover and create.” Let's become cognizant of their emotional and mental health and make efforts towards improving it.
