An awareness programme on “Oral health and hygiene” was organised at Valley Public School, Panchkula. A team of dental experts conducted interactive session, demonstration and check-ups for the students. During the sessions, children were taught the importance of regular dental check-ups, proper brushing techniques and the harmful effect of excessive consumption of junk food. Students enthusiastically participated and gave their views regarding the oral health and hygiene. Five students Risan Patra-4th (B), Aaruhi-4th (B), Rajveer-7th (A), Arman Malik-8th (B), and Sahil Saini-8th (B), were honoured with prizes. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and promise for students to spread awareness about oral health and hygiene among their families and communities.
