AKSIPS-41 Smart School, Chandigarh, organised an informative awareness session on menstrual hygiene and cervical cancer vaccination for girls of classes V to VIII. The session was conducted by the medical officer and school counsellor, who sensitised students about the importance of maintaining menstrual hygiene, understanding body changes and the preventive measures against cervical cancer. The interactive session aimed to promote health awareness, break taboos surrounding menstruation and empower young girls to take informed decisions about their well-being. Students participated actively and expressed their gratitude for the valuable guidance provided. The school management appreciated the efforts of the wellness wing for organising such meaningful initiatives that contribute to the holistic health and confidence of the students.
