Major Ajaib Singh Convent School, Jeonwala, observed a 'Bagless Day' under the theme of Children’s Recreation Day. All students of the primary department participated in various activities, such as speeches, poetry recitation, storytelling, tongue twisters and quizzes, showcasing their exceptional talent. The programme commenced with the recitation of a ‘shabad’ from Gurbani by students of the Class V. Students from the Grade II performed a dance as a welcoming gesture for the principal. The themes for the speeches and poems were dedicated to the 350th Martyrdom Day of Guru Tegh Bahadur and the 245th Birthday of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Principal/ Director of the institution Dr SS Brar, inspired the children to actively participate in such competitions.
