The Girls' Under-19 Basketball Team of Modern Senior Secondary School, Patiala, emerged victorious at the zonal basketball tournament held at Govt Multipurpose Senior Secondary School, securing the gold medal after a series of competitive matches. The tournament witnessed participation from eight strong teams, where school players displayed exceptional skill, teamwork and determination to clinch the top position. Govt Multipurpose Senior Secondary School secured the second position, while Akal Academy, Reeth Kheri, bagged the third place. Adding to the achievement, three players from Modern School's team - Pooja Rawat, Mokshita Garg and Sehajneek - have been selected to represent the zone in the upcoming District Basketball Tournament, marking another proud moment for the school.
