The Thakur Memorial Trophy Basketball Tournament commenced at school. The opening ceremony was graced by Principal Manbir Brar, along with other dignitaries. The event was inaugurated by chief guest Amardeep Singh Rai, Director General of Police, Traffic and Road Safety, Punjab. The guests of honour were Tejdeep Singh Saini (PCS, GAD, Punjab), Bikramjit Singh Brar (Punjab AGTF DSP), and Varinder Singh Brar (AIG, Punjab). The highlight of the day was a gripping face-off between Soulian Warriors (SW) and Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute (AFPI) — a match that kept the spectators on the edge of their seats. On the opening day, players showcased great enthusiasm and sportsmanship in thrilling matches that kept the audience cheering.
