Ashmita Dargan, PGT (mathematics) teacher at the school, represented Punjab at the ninth India International Science Festival (IISF) 2023. The prestigious event, organised by the Ministry of Science and Technology, MOES, Department of Space, Department of Atomic Energy in association with Vijnana Bharati and National Innovation Foundation-India, was held on the RCB Campus, Faridabad, marked with the presence of Manohar Lal Khattar, Chief Minister of Haryana. The theme of the IISF 2023, ‘Science and technology-driven Nav Bharat in Amritkal’, unfolded 17 distinct programmes aimed at highlighting the nation’s achievements in science, technology and innovation. Out of numerous applications nationwide, only approximately 300 teachers were selected for the event, “Education for aspiring India – National Science Teacher’s Workshop”, recognizing innovative teaching methods. Ashmita Dargan, with 15 years of dedicated service and a proud alumni of the same institute, stood out as one of the 12 selected teachers from PSEB/IGSC/CBSE in Punjab.
