The school organised cyclothon and walkathon for fitness and awareness. As part of the Fit India initiative, the school organised a vibrant event for encouraging health, mindfulness, and cancer awareness. The day began with a high-energy cyclothon from New Chandigarh to Sukhna Lake, followed by a spirited walkathon, led by Interact Club members, to spread awareness about cancer. Students then participated in a rejuvenating yoga session, fostering mindfulness and physical well-being. The event was graced by two distinguished guests — Dr Divyesh Kumar Anand, Additional Professor of Radiotherapy and Oncology at the PGI, Chandigarh, and Abhishek Singh Shekhu, a renowned Indian para cyclist. Principal Inderpreet Kaur praised the students’ enthusiastic participation, highlighting the importance of maintaining physical fitness and mental well-being through such meaningful initiatives.
