The school hosted ‘Field Day Fiesta’ as part of the Annual Parents’ Day celebrations for classes I and II on its grounds. The event witnessed the participation of Bhavan’s young athletes showcasing their agility, fitness and team spirit.

The festivities commenced with a warm welcome to chief guest Vineeta Arora, Director, Education-cum-Senior Principal, Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh, and the guests of honour Kunika Sharma, Principal, Bhavan Vidyalaya, Junior School, Chandigarh, and Suparna Bansal, Vice-Principal, Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh, and the parents. The programme commenced with the release of colourful balloons by the chief guest and Inderpreet Kaur, Principal, Bhavan Vidyalaya, New Chandigarh. The day began with an array of performances. In ‘Yogic Bliss’, young yogis mesmerised the audience with their graceful poses and asanas. The infectious rhythms of ‘Zesty Zumba’ compelled everyone to sway and move, while the ‘Taekwondo Tigers’ demonstrated their prowess with swift kicks and precise punches. The ‘Gymnastics Jamboree’ showcased great agility and rhythmic movements of the twisting and whirling wonders with their colourful hula hoops and their dashing ribbons along with the gymnasts putting up a great display of somersaults. The ‘Sporty Spectacle’ witnessed a display of various sports put up by the young and enthusiastic sportspersons. Adding to the cultural tapestry of the event, the rhythmic ‘Bhangra Beats’ infused the atmosphere with vibrant energy and joy as a grand finale to the field display. Following the extravagant field display, the students participated in ‘The Last Lap’ as they sprinted through various races such as the 30-m sprint race for Class I, hurdle races for classes I and II, and relay races for Class II, with separate categories for boys and girls. Special fun events like Tug-A-Thon, and Musical Hoops were hosted especially for the parents. This was followed by the prize distribution ceremony, where winners and participants were felicitated for their exceptional performances and sportsmanship. The programme closed with the singing of the national anthem.
