The school marked National Sports Day with enthusiasm to commemorate the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand, India's legendary hockey player. The week-long celebration underscored the importance of physical fitness and sports in students' lives. Pupils actively participated in a variety of traditional games including Tug of Unity, Kho-Kho, Pithu Garam, Obstacle Races, Stapoo and other indigenous activities that fostered teamwork, coordination, and enjoyment. The celebrations began with students pledging to uphold the spirit of sportsmanship and commit to fitness as part of their daily routine. The principal, Gulshan Kaur, highlighted the initiative's significance, stating, "Sports play a vital role in the holistic development of every child, nurturing not just physical strength but also discipline, confidence and teamwork."
