The school marked its Foundation Day with a tribute to KM Munshi, visionary founder of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. Revered for his deep-rooted commitment to Indian culture, education and environmental stewardship, Munshi played a pivotal role in initiating the vanmahotsav — a legacy the school proudly continues to uphold. In alignment with his ideology, the NSS unit of the school organised a plant donation drive coinciding with Earth Day. The symbolic and impactful initiative aimed to spread awareness about environmental conservation and sustainability. The event underscored a collective commitment to nurturing a greener planet. The drive inspired students, parents, teachers and community members to actively participate by donating and adopting plants. Their wholehearted involvement reflected a shared sense of responsibility towards protecting and preserving nature. Principal Gulshan Kaur appreciated the initiative and applauded the NSS volunteers for their dedicated efforts. She emphasised the importance of being vigilant and proactive in our duties towards Mother Earth and praised the spirit of environmental consciousness instilled in the young volunteers. Reflecting on the ideals of KM Munshi, she highlighted his unwavering belief in the harmonious coexistence of culture, education and nature.
