The school organised a two-day annual prize distribution function, titled ‘Medha Manyata Divas’. It was an endeavour to acknowledge and award students of classes X and XII for their glorious achievements in the school examination for the academic session 2023-24. The school honoured all its achievers for attaining a sterling record in scholastic and co-scholastic domains. The function commenced by seeking God’s blessings through the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. This was followed by a ‘TED talk’ in which CBSE toppers and achievers of the 2023-24 batch were invited to inspire and motivate students of classes X, XI and XII. The panel included Rachit Ahuja, Sai Gaurav Sahu, Ishita, Sophia and Ananya. The next day in the sequence was the prize distribution ceremony. This year nearly 340 students were awarded. The CBSE toppers of classes X and XII were felicitated and awarded Rs 1,500 each. Besides the overall toppers, other academic achievers were given citations. Science Genius and Mathlete Award was conferred upon Rachit Ahuja and Rachit Bishnoi, respectively. Major Sandeep Sankhla School Time Achievement Award, including a citation and a cash award, was given to Shaurya Chaudhary and Aradhya Vashisht of Class XII. The most coveted Bhavan’s pride — all-around best student award in memory of former Chairman Kulwant Singh — was bestowed upon Rachit Ahuja of Class XII. The school annual magazine, Medha Manthan, was released by Vice-Chairmen AN Mathur and Brig Kiran Krishan and other distinguished members of the management committee. The event concluded with a vote of thanks.
