Birth anniversary of Patel celebrated

Senior Secondary Model School, Punjabi University, Patiala, marked the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel with a special morning assembly. Students were made aware of the efforts to eradicate corruption and teachers and students alike emphasised the importance of fighting against corruption. Gurpreet Kaur Malli and Jatin, a student, encouraged their peers to uphold honesty, while student Anmol Singh led the school in taking the oath sent by the Government of India. School in-charge Satvir Singh Gill guided the students to follow the path of honesty in their lives. To further reinforce this message, the students and staff visited the nearby village of Sheikhpura to spread awareness about ending corruption. The entire school staff was present to support this initiative.
