A mock drill was conducted last week in two sessions — Classes IV to VIII and VIII to XII — to prepare students for blackout or war-like emergencies. Students were trained to crouch under furniture, cover windows and doors with dark sheets, stay calm and silent, and follow teacher's instructions. They were also guided on using battery-operated torches, listening to the radio for news, and parking vehicles safely on the roadside during threats. A Q&A session helped reinforce key learnings. Students were encouraged to share these safety measures with their family members. This drill was part of the school's preparedness protocol.
