In an enriching educational experience, students from Class XI and XII and Rotary Club Interacters of Blue Bird High School, Panchkula, visited Winsome textile industry located at Baddi to gain first-hand exposure to the world of textiles. The industrial visit was organised as a part of the curriculum, aimed to give students practical insights into the textile industry and its operations. The visit began with an orientation by the industry’s management team, who provided an overview of the textile production process, including fibre processing, dyeing, weaving, and garment manufacturing. Students observed the intricate machinery and learned about the technology used in textile production. This experience allowed students to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world applications. The visit also encouraged students to consider career opportunities in the textile sector, from fashion design to textile engineering.
