Blue Bird High School, Panchkula, students celebrated World Post Day. A special educational visit for school students to the local Post Office, Sector 8, Panchkula, was organised. They bought inland letters, festival envelopes, stamps and postcards. They were introduced to various postal operations, including mail sorting, stamp cancellation, booking of speed post and parcels, and the functioning of the savings bank and philately sections by the officials of the post office. The post office staff also explained the journey of a letter from the post box to its destination, giving students insight into the traditional postal network. An interactive session was held where students asked questions about stamps, delivery timelines, and how technology is now integrated into postal services.
