A three-day book fair and literary festival, organised by Vidya Bharati Punjab, concluded successfully at Sharda Sarvhitkari Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 40-D, Chandigarh. The final day began with the lighting of the lamp, Saraswati Vandana, and bhajans.The inaugural session was attended by Vijay Nadda, founder of the North Zone Organisation Minister; Rajiv, Assistant Director of Education Department, Punjab; and Manish, General Secretary of Sarvhitkari Prakashak Samiti. Nadda said schools have a responsibility not only to educate but also to organise events that promote social and national uplift. He stressed that receiving a good book at the right time can be life-changing. Around 3,000 people were benefitted from the literary festival and 2500 books were sold.
