Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated at the school by organising various activities on the values of Mahatma Gandhi’s teachings depicting the cleanliness of body, mind, soul and surrounding, under the mission Swachh Bharat. The whole school was involved, including students, teachers and parents, in the mission. This was initiated with Swachhata Pledge, followed by cleanliness drive, tree plantation, awareness rally and creating human chain. Selfie point was the centre of attraction among parents and ‘Swachhata ki Pathshala’ among student. Students also expressed their responsible insights through slogan-writing, poem recitation, quiz, painting, etc. Principal Upasna Modgil directed all to purify body, mind and soul by practising the process of cleanliness of thoughts and deeds by following the teachings of Gandhi.
