The Centre of Excellence (COE), Chandigarh, organised a CBSE Art Integration Workshop at AKSIPS-45, Chandigarh, with the aim of empowering teachers to seamlessly integrate art into classroom teaching and make learning more experiential and joyful. The workshop was led by resource persons Pushpalata Jha, Principal, G World School, Mohali, and Karamjot Kaur, Senior Coordinator, Mount Litera Zee School, Patiala. Both experts highlighted the significance of art as a powerful medium to foster creativity, critical thinking, and holistic development among learners. The session comprised demonstrations, interactive discussions, and hands-on activities that illustrated how visual and performing arts can be meaningfully embedded across different subjects. Teachers participated with great enthusiasm, sharing their insights and reflecting on innovative pedagogical practices. Participants acknowledged the workshop for its relevance and practicality, recognising that art integration complements the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 by making education more engaging, inclusive, and multidisciplinary. The workshop concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks to the resource persons for providing a valuable platform for educators to enhance their professional skills and teaching methodologies.
