CBSE’s teacher training workshop at Shemford School, Barara
To develop the efficiency and skills of teachers in the field of education, with the aim of making the teaching process more effective, a one-day teacher training workshop of the CBSE was organised at the school. In this workshop, Bloom Taxonomy, Learning Outcomes, Lesson Planning, Pedagogy and various teaching methods, instructional strategies were discussed in depth. The teachers of the school participated enthusiastically in the workshop and got information about the latest teaching methods. The workshop was started by Dr Anupam Handa, Air Force School, Ambala Cantt, and Shivani Vashisht, Army Public School, Chandimandir, Panchkula, by lighting a lamp in front of Maa Saraswati. In the workshop, which had the participation of 60 teachers, the trainers provided practical experiences like experimental sessions, case studies and group discussions. In the training, effective teaching strategies like class management, digital teaching tools, flip classroom, project-based learning, peer teaching and gamification were introduced. At the end of the programme, Principal Ruby Sharma appreciated the trainers and thanked them by giving them mementos.
