The Gurukul organised a special thematic assembly to raise awareness about two critical United Nations Sustainable Development Goals — No Poverty and Zero Hunger. The assembly began with an insightful introduction on the significance of ensuring basic human rights, like food and shelter for all. Students presented alarming facts and inspiring stories, emphasising the collective role society can play in creating a world free from hunger and poverty. A thought-provoking skit showcased the real-life struggles faced by the underprivileged, highlighting how access to education and community support can bring about lasting change. This was followed by a moving group dance, artistically portraying the journey from suffering to hope and dignity. The assembly concluded with a pledge by students and staff.
