Students of the school participated in the vibrant celebration of World Heritage Day at Air Force School, Ambala Cantonment, organised by the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH). The event brought together students from 24 schools to promote awareness and appreciation for India’s rich heritage. Brig MS Tomar (retired) was the chief guest, while Dr Deshbandhu and Group Captain Joginder Maini (from Air Force Station, Ambala) were guests of honour. Students confidently delivered speeches on heritage-related topics, showcasing their understanding and passion for preserving cultural heritage. A visit to St Paul’s Church, a historic landmark, further enriched their experience. School student Ronauk was appreciated for her speech by the guests. Colonel RD Singh and Madhu Singh praised the students’ performances, acknowledging the importance of heritage conservation and education. Overall, the celebration was a success, fostering cultural appreciation and responsibility among young minds. Principal Sonali Sharma appreciated the efforts put in by the students and motivated them to protect and cherish the heritage today and every day to make a positive impact on the coming generations.
